Call for Contributions
We would like to begin this project by working on the concept of the general strike. Can we push for a general strike now? (Of course we can!) What has the historical experience of the general strike been like? Given the contingencies confronting us, and in particular the fact of American decline on the world stage, we think it is reasonable to begin pushing for such an action. However, we also believe that without being supplemented by rigorous thinking and creative invention, any such action is futile. We are tired of marching in the streets to no avail.
Of course, your contribution can be about something else entirely - perhaps other topics related to our orientation interest you. Our intention is not to constrain the types of submissions we receive, but rather to propose a working theme for this project. We cannot determine a-priori which ideas will prove to be crucial in the development of our politics, but we think: why not begin with the notion of the general strike?
